While establishing his career as a portrait photographer, Ed Glendinning developed friendships with his subjects, many of whom were artists. His keen eye for detail and his technical expertise gained him their respect, and he was soon asked to document their art as well as their portraits. With an increase in commissions by artists came work from galleries, collectors and Christie’s Auction House where he photographed an array of collections for auction catalogues. By faithfully reproducing exceptional works of art, Glendinning has earned a reputation as a photographer of choice for Fine Art Documentation.
